Ikonic Glass Workshop Experience:
Step into the world of glassblowing with Ikonic Glass, where every workshop is designed to ignite creativity and provide a hands-on, memorable experience. Under the guidance of skilled instructors, participants will learn the fundamentals of glassblowing and create a unique piece of art to take home.
What to Expect:
Getting Started: Upon arrival, participants fill out a waiver and then dive right into the creative process. You’ll choose from a variety of designs that you can make. Each design can be made into a pendant, ornament, figurine, or drink stirrer. Once you've picked your design, you can select from a vibrant palette of colors to personalize your creation.
Safety First: We prioritize safety at every workshop. All participants receive essential safety gear and a quick rundown on handling the equipment safely, with all procedures up to federal and local fire safety regulations.
Small Group Instruction: Each instructor works with two students at a time, ensuring you have guidance while still allowing room for hands-on creativity. This setup allows our team to provide support as needed and helps everyone feel comfortable with the process.
Hands-On Creation: Once you’re geared up, it's time to get hands-on! Under the close supervision of our instructors, you’ll handle the tools, melt and manipulate the glass, and bring your design to life.
Take-Home Art: At the end of the workshop, you’ll have to let your beautiful, custom piece of glass art cool for 20 minutes or so before you can take it home as a keepsake of your experience.
A Fun and Supportive Atmosphere: Our instructors prioritize making students feel comfortable, using positive reinforcement and high-energy encouragement. The atmosphere is playful and welcoming, ensuring everyone leaves feeling proud of their accomplishments and inspired by the art they’ve created.
